OUR QUARTETS E.S.Q. (Eastern Shore Quartet)
Lead - Betty Ann Peters Bass - Laura Masucci Tenor - Faith Flynn Baritone - Roni Gapetz
Together for almost four years, E.S.Q.
has appeared in several shows for the Ocean Bay Chorus as well as singing
for many other groups and organizations on the Eastern Shore. They continue
to add new music to their repertoire and work diligently to sharpen their
barbershop skills. As a quartet, E.S.Q. offers a smooth, well-balanced
sound that is sure to please.
Betty Ann Peters, the
quartet's Lead singer is also a certified director. Her sweet sound gives
the group its musical character, and her enthusiasm energizes them.
Faith Flynn, Tenor, has always
enjoyed music in her life. Not only has she sung in other groups, but she
has also taught music to elementary children. Her crisp tenor brightens the
quartet's sound.
Roni Gapetz, a certified
director, sings the ever-challenging Baritone with mellowness. She has a B.
A. in music and has taught it to children from K-8 for ten years. She is
the former director of Sounds of the Atlantic women's chorus, and the
Nautical Sounds men's chorus. She was also charter director of the Ocean
Bay Chorus.
Laura Masucci sings Bass and
claims it is the most important part! She has sung in many groups from an
early age, and has enjoyed ringing those Sweet Adeline chords for the past
ten years.
Oh, what does E.S.Q. mean?
Why--Eastern Shore Quartet, of course!
